About the Event
We all try to implement a process to heal ourselves through mental , emotional or physical challenges. Whether it is we need to heal from the past or heal from what we would consider our future we find ourselves taking a slow and non confrontational approach to letting go. This causes a great deal of unnecessary suffering that could be completely avoided by maintaining a consistent and committed yoga practise. The science of yoga gives us a direction to look forward to as ultimately it's not a destination that we seek, but the journey of consciousness that we experience along the way.
This yoga retreat will address and acknowledge the blocks, denials and resistance that causes friction in our lives which leads to states of mental, emotional and physical sickness. Through yoga and meditation, through kriya and pranayam and through bhakti and prema we will overcome challenges that hinder our spiritual process and promote layers of healing.
Yoga does more than make you feel good, this practice has real, concrete results for the mind and body— with the current world situation and unfolding events maintaining a strong immunity and adapting to our changing circumstances is key. Yoga will not only bring balance to the ebbs and flows of life but will strengthen and maintain your energy levels.
Ian is excited to be hosting this special event set in a tranquil and serene Queensland location just 20 minutes’ drive from the iconic Gold Coast beaches. You will spend the day in the lush and intimate Gold Coast Hinterland – a setting that will reinvigorate and re-energise the mind, body and soul.
Enjoy a conscious practice to enhance (or begin) your meditation and yoga journey providing you with valuable techniques that will enable you to optimise your inner wellness.
